Matthew Lackmann serves as the Regional Director of Operations for Southern New York and Florida at Lessing's Hospitality. In his five years with the company, Matthew has played a key role in driving operational success across over 20 locations. His leadership encompasses a range of responsibilities, from enhancing customer experience and food quality to overseeing a dedicated team of 150 staff members. His approach combines a deep understanding of the hospitality industry with a commitment to operational excellence and team development.

Before his tenure at Lessing's, Matthew made significant strides at Cardinal Foods in New Jersey as the Vice President of Sales, where his strategic sales initiatives propelled the company to impressive revenue growth. His expertise was further honed at Compass Group, where he managed high-profile accounts and led operational strategies following the acquisition of his family business, Lackmann Culinary.

Matthew's professional journey began with Lackmann Culinary Services, where he quickly rose through the ranks. Starting in various operational roles, he later became Vice President of Operations and then Co-CEO. Under his leadership, the company saw substantial revenue growth and high client retention rates.

Recognized for his business leadership with the '40 Under 40' award, Matthew also dedicates time to charitable activities, including Big Brother Big Sister and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

In his personal life, Matthew is an active coach for girls’ basketball at Notre Dame School of Manhattan. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and four daughters.
